About the Society
Founded by St. Vincent Pallotti, the Pallottine Fathers and Brothers of the Immaculate Conception Province seek to revive faith and rekindle charity in the hearts of all members of the faithful. Pallottines minister wherever the Church needs us and can be found in parishes, schools, universities, missions, and other Catholic organizations. The Pallottines of the Immaculate Conception Province are located throughout the eastern United States and Peru.

HistoryThe Immaculate Conception Province has been serving Catholic communities in the Eastern part of the United States since 1884 and was established as a Province of the Pallottine Fathers and Brothers in 1953.
Today, the Province has ministries in New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Peru. |
St. Vincent PallottiSt. Vincent Pallotti, referred to as the Prophet of Communion, was a 19th century priest in the Diocese of Rome. Despite a deep desire to become a missionary, St. Vincent served his entire priestly life in Rome. Pallotti developed a great love for the poor and a desire to bring people back to the Church. Two principles that guided St. Vincent throughout his ministry were his hopes to revive faith in Catholics and rekindle charity in every person he met, especially those who had gone away from Christ and the Church.
Pallotti wanted every person to be Christian, every Christian to be a Catholic, and every Catholic to be an apostle. |
The LifestyleAs an apostolic community, the Pallottines are engaged in the day-to-day life and mission of the Church. At the heart of the Pallottine life is community life. In community life, members live and work together so they can better serve one another and those in their care. St. Vincent Pallotti was a leader in fostering collaboration between the clergy, consecrated religious, and the laity. Today, the Pallottines of the Immaculate Conception Province carry on that mission.
