The Pallottine Prayer Life
The Pallottine Fathers and Brothers do not have a set prayer life prescribed by St. Vincent Pallotti or other founding members of the order. Instead, their spirituality is heavily focused on reflection of on who one is before God, who one is for others, and how does one continue to grow as an apostle for Christ.
The new app "Revive & Rekindle" offers a wide array of Pallottine prayer resources and methods for you to explore.

The Formation Process
An Explanation of the Stages of Formation
The Contact Stage: If you sense a call to the Pallottines, we invite you to contact the Vocation Director for an initial conversation. You will visit our Shrine, schools, and other ministries. After meeting the community and its members, you, with the support of the Vocation Director, will begin to discern a response to the call.
Postulancy: This stage of formation allows you to experience the community from during a period of one year or more. During this time, you will pursue studies and become involved in some form of ministry. Presentations on the Pallottine lifestyle and spirituality will prepare you for entry into the next period of formation.
Preparatory Formation: This two-year period enables you to continue your formation in community life, further your formal education and create a solid spiritual foundation. One year is the “Academic Year” in which you will continue with theological studies and/or other specialized training. The “Spiritual Year” is one of intense prayer and reflection, allowing you to prepare for life as a Pallottine within the Society and the Union of Catholic Apostolate. The Director of Preparatory Formation will introduce you to the charism of our founder, the Law of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, our history, and the theology of the consecrated life. Upon completion of this phase and following a process of dialogue, you will be invited to request temporary consecration which initiates the next stage of formation.
Temporary Consecration: This is a time of “living into the life” as a consecrated member of our community. It consists of no less than three and no more than six years of annual renewal of promises. You will complete your theological studies and/or specialized training while continuing to integrate, interpret, and nurture the Pallottine charism.
After this period of Temporary Consecration, you may request Perpetual Consecration. At that time, you will profess for life the promises of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate. Initial Formation is completed at this time for the Pallottine Brother and he now begins a full time ministry. The perpetually consecrated student for the priesthood prepares for Ordination.
Continuing Formation: We realize that growth in life and in faith is a lifetime process. Through your ministry, support groups, and other educational opportunities, you will be certain to animate the words of Jesus: “I have come that they might have life and have it to the full.” (John 10:10).
